Quite a few spontaneous photo-shoots happened at Woodhull this summer, many of which happened on the last day. It all started when I lent my camera to Epiphora to take some photos of her Wahl and Womanizer. Then I shot some self portraits in Bex’s shiny new Eleven. Then Epiphora shot Bex and I jumping on the bed wearing only strap-ons. Then I shot some portraits of the awesome Caitlin of Sex-ational! (don’t they have the prettiest eyes!?)…while still only wearing my strap-on. You’d never guess from the photos that it was technically a “nude” shoot…or knowing us, you might. 😉
Thanks Epiphora for capturing this rad behind the scenes shot on my phone!
“When I die, bury me with all my sex toys.” —Lunabelle
Lunabelle, aka the writer of Ninja Sexology, is one of my dildo heroes. I have quite a few dildos, but her collection is straight up awe-inspiring. She currently owns 185 dildos, many of which are from small companies and are unique, colorful, gorgeous, and often huge. Lucky for those of us who attended Woodhull last month, she brought along about 50 of them for us to admire and squish!

I shot this self portrait at Hippie Hollow with my point and shoot waterproof digital camera set up on a gorilla pod attached to a tree using a 10 sec. self timer. It was beautiful out but scorching hot and best enjoyed from in the water, so I only took one shot with this set up, and I’m happy with how it came out. What do you think?
Last week I attended the amazing Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit (I’m planning on writing a post about it so stay tuned!), and while I was there, I shot this self portrait in Bex‘s shiny new Njoy Eleven.
New life goal: get a self portrait in every Njoy toy.
Vagina goal: obtain an Eleven for myself. 3 lbs of stainless steel…
This past Monday, I went to Hippie Hollow for the first time with two close friends. The view was gorgeous, and we felt so free swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking completely nude. Afterwards, we had dinner while watching the sun set over the Lake at the Oasis. It was a perfect day and reminded me why I love Austin so much (as if I could forget!) This shot was captured by my friend Berklee with my waterproof point and shoot and edited by me in Lightroom.
What’s the best way to cool off in 100+ degree Austin summer heat?
Taking a dip in the always cool, always beautiful Deep Eddy Pool, of course.
These were taken with an old point and shoot waterproof digital camera–I took the 1st shot, and the last 2 shots were taken by my lovely friend Berklee. (It’s hard to reach around and take a selfie of your own butt underwater, lol.)
This month’s Sinful Sunday prompt is vintage/retro, and right away I thought of this image that I shot a couple of years ago and have been holding on to. It’s a self portrait of me playing with an old film camera (taken with a DSLR and edited in a retro style.)
Speaking of film–I haven’t shot with film in ages, but I’ve been thinking about starting again. There’s one black and white film class in town that I know of that I’ve been wanting to take, but the timing hasn’t worked out so far–some people have also suggested teaching myself/making my own darkroom. I also have an old Polaroid that I could experiment with, but film for it is expensive.
A couple of weeks ago, I bought an underwater disposable film camera at Walgreens before a friend’s pool party, and I’ve shot a few sexy images on it…only to realize I’m going to have to send it off to get developed, and I’ve heard many places don’t even give you your negatives back anymore. So now I’m not sure what to do with those…
Do any of y’all still shoot with film? How do you develop it?
