Review: Vixen Creations Buck

Vixen Buck1

Y’all, I am in love. Simply put, Buck is perfection.

But let’s back up. First, let’s talk VixSkin. Vixskin is a dual density silicone from Vixen Creations (they’re located in Austin, btw!), and it’s unlike any other silicone I’ve ever felt. It’s super squishy with a hard core, and it’s incredibly detailed. It reminds me of the uber realistic materials I used to sell at the sex shop…except it’s 100% silicone and hygienic! I seriously want to meet and give major high fives to whoever created the recipe…it’s life changing. I recently got my first 3 VixSkin dildos: Buck, Tex, & Johnny, and Buck is my favorite.

Vixen Buck3Buck is girthy and veiny, with a 2″ pronounced head and ~6″ shaft, with a flared base. Its shaft starts at about 1.8″ below its head, and maxes out at a little over 2″ near its base. In use that translates to…perfection. Buck feels amazing thrusted shallowly, its head nudging on my g-spot, and it also feels fabulous thrusted deeper, its shaft providing a delicious stretch at my vaginal opening. Since it’s so squishy, I can thrust it wildly, but it’s also hard enough to feel intense. Did I mention its head? My g-spot adores it.

With eyes closed, Buck feels incredibly real, which makes it perfect for role-play and fantasy. In fact, I fell in love with my partner all over again when he asked me if I wanted him to use Buck on me while I gave him a blow job. Adam used to be my fave for threesome role-play…but Buck has taken over the throne. Adam feels great, but Buck feels more realistic. At first Buck’s look and prominent veins seemed a bit over the top to me, but after using Buck, I love everything about it. Never change, Buck!

Vixen Buck2Now I usually have at least one of my VixSkin dildos out on my desk so I can squeeze it in between writing. They’re so squishy–they’re like stress-cocks. When I first got my Vixskin dildos, someone tweeted at me about how I’d soon find that even cleaning them is fun, and it’s so true. Washing Vixskin is like giving soapy handjobs, and it’s fabulous.

I have zero complaints about Buck. At 2″, it will be too girthy for some, but for me, it’s perfect. I’ve heard VixSkin is more reactive to hybrid/silicone lubes, so I’d recommend sticking with water based, though I do that with all silicone toys to be safe anyways. Since it has a flared base, Buck is harness compatible and anal safe, and it can be easily cleaned with soap and water or boiled for 3 minutes.

Should you get Buck? Yes, I think you should. I am enamored. Buck es mi amor. If all of my dildos disappeared, Buck would be one of the first I’d replace… I shudder to think about that happening though. If you’re looking for an awesome realistic dildo with some girth, I definitely recommend Buck. My Buck is “vanilla,” and it also comes in caramel and chocolate.

Get Buck at SheVibe or directly from Vixen.

If Buck seems to big, Mustang is an awesome smaller VixSkin dildo. Want some VixSkin with balls? I also love Johnny.

Thanks Vixen Creations!

Review: Tantus Flurry O2

pennysblog_ontheroadCompanies like Tantus, a USA manufacturer of 100% pure non-porous silicone sex toys, are responsible for my love of dildos. After a gross experience with a jelly vibe, I was turned off of internal toys for years. Now, I want them all! (All of the good ones, of course.)

The first Tantus dildo I tried was Adam O2, which was love at first thrust, so I was super excited when Tantus sent me a package of toys that included the Flurry, another dildo from their O2 dual density line, which features a Super Soft™ squishy outside and a hard muscle core shaft, both made of 100% silicone. The Flurry has a flared based, so it can be used for harness and anal play, and it comes in Ice (blue) like mine, as well as Candy (pink) and Twilight (purple.)

Though the Flurry is from the same O2 line as Adam, the sensation it provides is unique. The Flurry isn’t curved, and its straight 7” shaft features two ridges on its head; the first is very prominent and the second is a little more subtle, but also stimulating. I love the way the Flurry’s ridges nudge and tug on my g-spot, and I enjoy both shallow and deeper thrusting with it.

If my Adam and Flurry were in a dildo quick-draw, the Adam would win, but I’m glad my life isn’t a western, and it doesn’t have to come to that. The way Adam curves underneath my g-spot, its girth providing intense pressure, is divine, but the Flurry’s bumps feel incredible as well, and since it’s slightly less girthy, it’s better for deeper and faster thrusting.  And used together, the Adam and Flurry make an incredible, unstoppable, squirt-inducing dildo-superhero duo. (If I can get my hands on a Cush, I suspect it may become a trio.)

The Flurry can be easily cleaned and sterilized by washing it with antibacterial soap and warm water, running it through the dishwasher (top shelf, no soap), by boiling it, or by using a 10% bleach solution. Since it’s made of silicone, you should only use a water based lube with this toy. Like all silicone toys, dust and hair clings to the Flurry, so it should be stored properly and washed before and after each use.

If you’re looking for a high quality dildo with a medium girth that provides unique stimulation, you should definitely try the Flurry O2—it’s hard yet squishy dual density silicone and ridges make it ideal for g-spot stimulation and thrusting.

Thanks Tantus for sending me the Flurry in exchange for my honest review!

Review: Tantus Adam O2

Tantus Adam O2I’ve wanted to try a realistic dildo for awhile now, and I’m so glad the Tantus Adam O2 was my first. I chose Adam to review mainly based on looks without reading a bunch of reviews of the toy like I usually do, and in this case my instincts, and Adam, served me well.

Adam is a realistic silicone dildo in the Tantus “O2” Dual Density line, which features a hard muscle core covered in a layer of Supersoft ™ silicone to mimic the feeling of a real penis. The toy has a realistic shape with a pronounced smooth head and a matte veiny shaft, with a flared round based for suctioning or use with a harness. The toy comes in three colors whose names remind me of coffee: Black, Cream, and the one I have, Cocoa.

While sometimes it takes me a few uses to warm up to a toy, with Adam it was love at first try. Adam’s generous girth (1.5″) and length (7″) and curved shape puts intense pressure on my g-spot and makes me feel like I’m going to squirt almost immediately. I usually warm up by clenching around it, and then move on to using the toy’s hard head to massage my g-spot, and eventually thrust harder and faster until I reach orgasm and/or squirt.

I love using Adam both by myself as well as during foreplay and sex. The 1st time I used Adam, Jake and I used it for a threesome fantasy/DP scenario, and it felt incredible, as evidenced by the puddle I left on my Fascinator Throe. I also love having Jake use it on me while I’m giving him oral, and with my eyes closed and some dirty talk, I almost forget it’s not the real thing.

Since silicone has some drag to it and Adam is a girthy toy, I use plenty of water based lube with it and like to keep the bottle nearby. I don’t insert Adam all the way (only the head and about half of the shaft,) but I like the extra inches for looks and also because they make it easier to hold onto. I also find the base useful as a handle for thrusting.

Adam is my first realistic dildo, so I don’t have much to compare it to, although I have felt Vixskin toys before and it’s definitely harder than their silicone. Adam also doesn’t have the freakishly lifelike design that I’ve seen in some “realistic” material or PVC dildos, but I’ll take Tantus’ high quality silicone and a little less realism over harmful phthalates any day. Besides, Adam’s hardness and shape feel incredible on my g-spot, and I don’t think it needs to be any softer.

I haven’t used Adam anally, but it can be used safely as an anal toy since it has a flared based and can be completely sterilized. I also haven’t tried it with a harness yet but probably will at some point and will add an update or follow-up if I do.

Adam is made of 100% non-porous silicone and can be easily cleaned and sterilized by washing it with antibacterial soap and warm water, running it through the dishwasher (top shelf, no soap), by boiling it, or by using a 10% bleach solution. Since it’s made of silicone, you should only use a water based lube with this toy. Like all silicone toys, Adam collects dust and hair like crazy and should be stored properly and washed before and after each use.

If you’re looking for a girthy realistic dildo, an intense g-spot toy, or both, then I definitely recommend the Tantus Adam O2. With its generous girth, realistic shape, and hard, pronounced head, Adam does wonders for my g-spot as well as my dirty imagination during role-play. If you’re new to penetration, prefer a smaller girth, or don’t enjoy intense g-spot stimulation then this probably isn’t the toy for you.

Adam Head Detail

1st Time with Adam

Unlike my wet Fascinator Throe review images, which were set up (using water), this image is all real, juicy wetness courtesy of yours truly. Isn’t the splash pattern of my come just lovely? 😉 I don’t want to spoil my upcoming review of the toy by elaborating too much, but I will say that Jake and Adam both had me at the same time, and it was…intense!
